Karen Mote
Director of Allied Health Services

Karen started her career with Medical Doctor Associates, Inc. in July of 1998 in the permanent placement division for physicians. She brought that experience with her to Allied Health Group in 2000 as a recruiter for radiation therapy and certified medical dosimetrist. She was promoted to Team Manager for the Imaging Division in January 2003, which included, Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetrist, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and all Radiologic modalities. In April 2008, Karen was promoted again to become the Director of Allied Health Group.

David Mafe
Vice President of Human Resources

As vice president of human resources, Mr. Mafe is responsible for human resource strategy and leadership development at Medical Doctor Associates LLC and Allied Health Group LLC. Mr. Mafe’s team also oversees staffing, compensation, health and wellness, benefits, payroll, employee relations and training and development.

Mr. Mafe holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Hawaii Pacific University. Mr. Mafe has over 10 years of experience in increasingly responsible HR roles. Mr. Mafe began his career with MDA as HR Director in November 2002.

Jim Warren
Compliance Officer

Jim Warren worked as a hospital administrator for more than 16 years before joining Medical Doctor Associates and sister-company Allied Health Group in 2000. Jim served as the CEO of hospitals in Louisiana and Texas. Additionally, he held hospital administration positions in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. He has extensive experience in health care compliance, corporate development and development of medical delivery systems.

Jim holds an M.B.A. from Georgia State University, a B.A. from Harding University and is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.

Nancy Burke

Nancy began her career with MDA as a Staffing Associate for Anesthesia in November of 2002. She moved into the Imaging Division of Allied Health Group in May of 2006. Prior to working for MDA, Nancy worked for 12 years as a manufacturer's representative in the industrial safety and automotive industries.

Spencer Strickland
Staffing Consultant

Spencer Strickland joined Allied Health Group in November of 2010 and is the newest member of the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in customer service, interpersonal skills, and sales from a background of commercial enterprise management and two entrepreneurships. He also spent some time conducting research for the biological-psychology department at the University of Georgia, where he completed both his B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Sociology. Spencer enjoys working with Healthcare professionals and aspires to use his position as a Staffing Consultant to positively impact the industry.

In his spare time, Spencer enjoys playing several instruments, spending time with his family and pets, and designing murals and other arts. He is also a UGA football fan, loves attending concerts, playing sports and being outdoors, and considers himself an all around people person.
